Nochia is a village in Kolymbari, Chania. It is located north-west of the city of Chania in a 30km Distance. The village is sutiated on a hill thus it is on an altitude of 160 meters.The village has its own history to tell as well, since it used to be a famous pottery center with a lot of kilns in the past. Lastly, while the location is considered inland, in a few minutes drive you may find yourself in very nice sandy beaches, whereas there are also hiking opportunities and sights like the Settlement of Gerakiana and the Settlement of Venio to visit nearby.


Kolymbari is a seaside village located on the corner formed between the northern coastline of western Crete and Rodopos peninsula stretching towards north. Kolimbari is 24 km from the city of Chania and 12 km from the large resort of Platanias.
