The floor plan encompasses four spacious bedrooms divided in two storeys, four luxurious bathrooms (three of them ensuite) and a sleek and stylish kitchen that flows through to the dining room and living room area.In a quiet location, just five minutes outside the coastal village of Marathi, and 900 meters from the sea, the villas offer panoramic, outstanding views over Marathi and Souda Bay, all the way across to the White Mountains in the Apokoronas region. It is an architectural expression in the Cretan landscape. Beautiful surroundings, contemporary spacious rooms, luxurious furnishing and five star service make a beautiful combination for holidays of exceptional quality and an ideal place for relaxation.

In the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, one master bedroom with walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom and satellite tv and one more with closet, satellite tv and bathroom right outside of it. All bedrooms have their private terraces with siting area and separately controlled A/C system. In the living room, there is a comfortable sofa, a 49inch 4k satellite TV and a playstation 4, a large dining table and a three-sided fireplace.
The kitchen offers an 8 person island bench and is fully equipped with an oven, 4-pot stove, microwave oven, extractor, sink, double-door fridge, wine cooler and all the necessary small electrical appliances.

The first floor is complied of two bedrooms. One with an ensuite bathroom, terrace and satellite tv and one master bedroom with walk-in closet, en suite bathroom and satellite tv, ensuring residents have a private space where they can enjoy the uninterrupted view. In the same level there is a business corner with an office where residents can work or study.
In the basement you will find a gym with a treadmill and gym equipment as well as a fully equipped bathroom.

Marathi is located in a small cove off the exit of the gulf of Souda. The beach is organized and has fine sand and clear blue waters. Here you will find a quiet tavern, along with a large beach bar with loud music and many young people. If you get here, it is worth your while to have one more dip in the sea at Marathi. You can also visit the nearby monasteries Agia Triada and Gouverneto. The two monasteries date back to the 16th and 17th centuries respectively, they are steeped in history and are excellent examples of architecture.

We spent one week in this beautiful place. Villa Alas has everything you could wish for. Seclusion, a dreamy view, contemporary architecture and most importantly charming owners. The day we arrived was our wedding anniversary and as we had told them in advance, they left a homemade cake a bottle of wine and some of the local drink “raki” with cretan sesame bars.They booked the taxi for us and when we arrived at the restaurant there was an other surprise waiting for us…A glass of bubbly and the excellent bottle of wine Manousakis we had chosen all had been paid by Anastasia & John!Villa alas offers everything even it’s own vegetable garden and we were allowed to pick our fruit & veg from there. I travel a lot and I am a very critical person. This is one of the few places I would rate as excellent. We are definitely going back next summer.

Exceptional Villa with beautiful view
The Villa is completely new, very comfortable and exactly like the pictures with fantastic panoramic views. The equipment is complete and offers more than all the necessary facilities that can be expected. It offers total privacy because of its situation and is 5 minutes from the beach, restaurants, a grocery shop and a bakery. The hosts were very kind and did all that is necessary to welcome us in the best conditions. We are used to rent villas regularly for our holidays, but Villa Alas is exceptional and definitely the best one we have ever stayed in.
