Perched high up but just 800 meters from the Cretan coast, it is located in a beautiful area, full of sleepy traditional Greek villages, and just a few minutes away from lovely sandy beaches and hidden coves.

The villa comfortably sleeps up to 12 people and features 5 bedrooms, a cinema/conference room, large heated infinity swimming pool and fantastic outdoor dining and BBQ area.

Combined with multiple balconies and terraces which were designed to be both private and also showcase the fantastic views, the villa also boasts a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area inside the villa.

Superbly designed and furnished, this villa offers families and groups a 5 star experience and is the perfect base when visiting the wonderful area of Western Crete.

Villa Kaylu is only a 45 minute drive from the international airport of Chania and the historic Venetian city of Chania, known as ‘little Venice’.

Set on two floors, the villa has been designed to take advantage of the magnificent scenery and the thoughtful layout offers superb views from the bedrooms and living areas. The upper floor and main entrance area to the house features 4 bedrooms with large balconies. The lower floor features a further bedroom, cinema room, a spacious open plan living area and access to the swimming pool and outdoor dining and terraces

Upper floor
Bedroom 1
A large, 18 m2, master bedroom with king size bed(1.60×2.00), en suite shower room and freestanding oval designer bath has access to both shared and private balconies through large sliding terrace windows.

Bedroom 2
A 16 m2 bedroom with kingsize bed(1.80×2.00) which can easily be converted to 2 single beds with en-suite shower room and private balcony.

Bedroom 3
A 16 m2 bedroom with kingsize bed(1.80×1.90) which can easily be converted to 2 single beds and has access to a balcony.

Bedroom 4
A 16 m2 bedroom with 2 double beds(1.40×2.00) and access to a private balcony.

There is also a separate large shower room on this level.

Lower floor
A staircase leads down to the main living area and swimming pool level.

The spacious interior features a further double bedroom, cinema room and open plan kitchen/living area and a guest toilet/shower room(also accessible from the pool area)

Bedroom 5
A 15 m2 bedroom with kingsize bed(1.60×2.00), an en-suite shower room and access to the pool and terrace area.

The living area overlooks the pool and views across the bay and features spacious seating areas, a television with satellite channels, and a large dining table.
The open plan Italian luxury kitchen is fully equipped with built-in oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Juicer, Coffee maker, Blender, Nespresso machine and central island with high stools.

Two side rooms next to the main kitchen also have further storage cupboards, a Microwave oven, oversized fridge/freezer, sink ,washing machine, dryer, drying wrack, ironing board and iron.

A large cinema room is located off the main living area. This is designed to be a multipurpose area. It can be used as a cinema room, conference room or can easily be converted to an extra sleeping area with 2 double sofa beds. This room is equipped with a large, 75 inch, flat screen TV, Netflix, PlayStation 4, Amazon Prime, Satellite TV and a wireless printer.

Pool area
The ground floor accesses the pool, terrace areas and outdoor dining areas.
The 40 m2 swimming pool has a stunning infinity feature where the water cascades over the end of the pool. It features beautiful non-slip mosaic tiles, has a shallow children’s area and a poolside shower. There is an option for the pool to be heated on request.

The very large beautiful outdoor living space includes luxury sunbeds and designer lounge chairs available for the use of guests.

A full outdoor dining area and kitchen is situated next to the pool. It has a charcoal BBQ, sink and fridge. A large dining table has covered pergola for shade and a heater if required.

Villa features

All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and are comfortably furnished with luxury beds, bedside cabinets and bedside lighting. Hairdryers are provided in all bedrooms.

Free WiFi is available throughout the house and in all outside areas.

The villa provides full air conditioning independently controlled in every room.

All windows in the villa are fitted with insect screens and have electrically operated roller shutters.

Provided in all the bathrooms are a selection of products including Molton Brown, hand soap and hand cream, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash.

The villa features internal speakers in the cinema room and living area and external speakers at the dining area.

The villa has a private entrance with remote controlled electric gate, and parking for several cars, including 2 shaded pergola areas.

4 cycles are available at the villa for use by the guests

A high chair is available at the villa for our younger guests

If required, the villa is also equipped with electric pool heating, full under floor central heating and patio heaters at the outside dining area.

Towels, including pool and beach towels are provided for all guests.

A welcome pack is provided for guests including fruit, sparkling wine, toiletries

Hairdryers hair straighteners and dressing gowns provided.
